ABOUT US
a community-based service provider dedicated to supporting youth, young adults, and families through culturally grounded, trauma-informed care. Based in the Edmonton area, we specialize in transportation services, moving and housing transition support, and youth transition-to-independence programming for individuals ages 18–26.
Our work is rooted in the understanding that stability, connection, and access to services are essential for long-term wellness. We focus on removing barriers that prevent youth from attending appointments, securing housing, accessing education, and building the life skills needed for independence.
Pisim Health Services works alongside First Nations, families, Elders, and community partners to provide support that respects culture, identity, and lived experience. We believe that when youth are supported holistically, mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and culturally, they are better equipped to thrive.
Our youth worker services support young adults as they transition into adulthood by helping them navigate adult systems, build confidence, develop practical life skills, and strengthen their sense of belonging. This includes support with housing, education and employment, legal navigation, mental wellness, cultural reconnection, healthy lifestyles, and community engagement.
In addition to youth services, we provide reliable transportation and supportive moving services to ensure individuals can safely access medical care, court and probation appointments, education and training, cultural activities, and stable housing.
At Pisim Health Services, we are committed to accountability, collaboration, and respectful service delivery. We provide clear communication and professional reporting to our partners and funders, while remaining flexible to meet the unique needs of each individual and community we serve.
